"The Euro surged against the US Dollar following hawkish remarks from ECB officials hinting at sustained interest rates through Q4."
The Euro (EUR) rallied strongly against the US Dollar (USD) during Thursday's trading session, pushing EUR/USD past the key psychological resistance level of 1.0900.

Market participants responded positively to the European Central Bank (ECB)'s latest monetary policy meeting minutes, which signaled that European central bankers are prepared to maintain restrictive interest rates for an extended period to combat core inflation pressures.

"Core inflation across the Eurozone remains sticky, necessitating a firm stance on monetary policy," noted ECB Governing Council members. Meanwhile, US Dollar momentum faltered following softer-than-expected US initial job claims and cooling PPI data.

Technical Outlook:
EUR/USD is currently testing resistance near 1.0930. A breakout above this level could target 1.0980 next, while key support remains anchored at 1.0850.
